Finding quality pieces of this material with the actual Dumortierite needles visible is becoming more and more difficult. In actuality, all of this material is getting more difficult to source. Even many of our Brazilian sources tell us that finding good material at a decent price is impossible. The reasons for this is the slow of mining production and the Chinese buying huge quantities of the material for lapidary purposes. So definitely consider grabbing one of these nicer examples if you’re able!
